A track performed by cellist Antonio Lysy has won a 2010 Latin GRAMMY Award in the ‘Best Classical Contemporary composition’ category!

The track, Pampas, taken from his album Antonio Lysy at The Broad: Music from Argentina was written by Lalo Schifrin and is performed by Antonio Lysy and Bryan Pezzone on piano. Pampas is the last track from the album which champions the rich soul of Argentina. The rich and romantic sound of the Argentine savanna (or Pampas) is portrayed in the newly commissioned work by Schifrin which has gained Antonio this award.
